Call to Artists: Sustainable Art Exhibit
Schack Art Center is seeking artwork for Saving the Environment: Sustainable Art, April 23 - May 30, 2015. This "recycled art" themed art show is our annual education exhibit geared for children second grade through Middle School and beyond. They will be led on docent field trips, create a hands-on project, and observe artists-in-action.
All mediums are welcome. Artwork must incorporate 70% percent recycled or repurposed materials. Artwork must be for sale (unless exception is made by the Gallery Director), with the gallery receiving a %40 commission. Artists may submit up to twelve relevant images by March 23. Digital images are to be in a jpg format (300 dpi or more, pc compatible). Please include your name, email address, phone number, media, dimensions and retail price. Email images and questions to Carie Collver at firstname.lastname@example.org, or mail a CD, ATTN: to Recycle Show, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett WA 98201. And please let us know if you are interested in participating as an artist-in-action (there is a stipend). We are also looking for artists who create wearable, recycled clothing (including accessories) to participate in our Trash Fashion Show on May 2. Artwork delivery dates are: April 12th and 13th.

2015 will be the 19th annual Fresh Paint: Festival of Artists at Work located along the beautiful Everett Marina. We call the festival "Fresh Paint", because we want our community to have the opportunity to watch artists demonstrate the techniques and processes involved in creating their work.
Artist applications are due May 1st by midnight.

Call to Artists: Art of the Garden
Schack Art Center is seeking artwork for the exhibit: Art of the Garden, June 18 - August 1, 2015. This "garden art" themed exhibit is one of our perennial favorites. All mediums are welcome. Artwork must be created for the garden out-of-doors, such as stone, metal, concrete sculptures, benches, arbors, etc., or to bring the garden into the home, with paintings, photographs, sculptures, etc. There are no size restrictions, and installations will be decided by jury selection.
Artwork must be for sale, with the gallery receiving a 40% commission. Artists may submit up to twelve relevant images by deadline: May 18. Digital images are to be in a jpg format (file size less than 1.0 MB, sized to 4" x 5" - 300dpi, and pc compatible). Images need to include: your name, email address, phone number, media, dimensions, and retail price. Email images and questions to Carie Collver at email@example.com, or mail a CD (non-returnable), ATTN: Art of the Garden, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett WA 98201.

Artists' Garage Sale
This is a wonderful opportunity to sell old artwork, overstock, art supplies, frames, art books or publications, discounted new work or anything art related you no longer want but someone else would love to have! NO commercially made products. Remember to keep your prices at garage sale level, this is NOT the place to sell your full price art.
There is no deadline, but booth space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
