Beginning Machine Sewing

Have you ever wanted to learn to sew? Do you have a sewing machine sitting around gathering dust, perhaps still in the box? Then dust off that machine and join us to finally learn how to use it! In this hands-on, project-oriented class, you will learn the basics of machine sewing, from choosing the right materials, to ironing a finished project. This class includes lessons on machine function, sewing straight lines, hemming, box corners, and basic zipper installation. During this five-week class, you will not only take home three completed projects, but you will take home the knowledge you need to continue on your sewing journey! Projects include a pillowcase, tote bag, and small zip pouch.
