Ceramic Blue Birds of Happiness

The symbol of a bluebird as the harbinger of happiness is found in many cultures and may date back thousands of years. Join us to learn basic hand building techniques to build your own blue bird of happiness. Fun for the whole family!

Cartooning for Kids

Write! Draw! Ink! This workshop allows young artists to learn the process of cartooning and drawing caricatures. Campers will follow along on a step by step basis to draw some favorite characters as well as create their own characters and write and draw their own stories.

Ceramic Garden Sun

The students will learn basic clay techniques to build a high fired "Mexican" Sun. They can be personalized to look like someone you know or ideas from the instructor. Multi color clays will be used. Instructor will "patina" the pieces after bisque and you will pick up your pieces ready to hang and enjoy.  All Levels

Beginning Machine Sewing

Have you ever wanted to learn to sew? Do you have a sewing machine sitting around gathering dust, perhaps still in the box? Then dust off that machine and join us to finally learn how to use it! In this hands-on, project-oriented class, you will learn the basics of machine sewing, from choosing the right materials, to ironing a finished project.

Drawing for Kids

Drawing is extremely easy and fun! We will be drawing a variety of subjects such as landscapes, animals, flowers and still lives in this class. We will be working in several drawing media and will be covering contrast, highlights/shadow, composition etc. in this exciting class! The subjects will be taught in a step-by-step fashion. You will be able to follow along with the steps to acheive beautiful finished projects!
