Intermediate Silversmithing

This is a great opportunity to further your creative abilities and skills in Silversmithing. During this five week course, you will be able to work in sterling silver, copper or brass depending on your project.  Create your own designs, combine materials of your choice and finish beautiful pieces of jewelry! Learn a Craft: Silversmithing

You will start by creating a beautiful bracelet from sterling silver wire. It will be bent to fit, soldered and a stone of choice will be added to enhance the bracelet. The design is very simple but extremely attractive and wearable. The second piece you create will be a ring, sized to fit your finger (or a friend's) and enhanced with a stone to match your bracelet. If we have time, you will make another project of choice. There will be very little soldering and sanding, and you'll leave with some very beautiful pieces! Level: Beginner
