Clay Castle

Create your masterpiece! This is your opportunity to design and build the castle of your dreams! Students will learn to create forms using basic clay hand building techniques. Pieces will be ready in a week to display in your yard, coffee table or bedroom!

Create Your Own Zine

Zines are self published, handcrafted magazines made outside of mainstream press and media, by all kinds of people about all kinds of things. Zines may include comics, drawings, photographs, stories, poems, interviews, reviews, collage and more. They also make great school reports, fundraising items and memories.

Drawing Camp

Drawing is extremely easy and fun! We will be drawing a variety of subjects such as landscapes, animals, flowers and still lives in this class. We will be working in several drawing media and will be covering contrast, highlights/shadow, composition etc. in this exciting class! The subjects will be taught in a step-by-step fashion. You will be able to follow along with the steps to acheive beautiful finished projects!

Expressive Sun

The students will learn basic clay techniques to build a high fired "Mexican" Sun. They can be personalized to look like someone you know or ideas from the instructor. Multi color clays will be used. Instructor will "patina" the pieces after bisque and you will pick up your pieces ready to hang and enjoy.  All Levels

High School Glassblowing

Teens, this class is your opportunity to learn to blow glass. Using 2000° furnaces (hot enough to turn a mixture of sand and soda ash into glass) you will practice the basics of blown glass and solid sculpted forms.  No prerequisite.  Beginner

High School Mash-up: Etching & Painting on Glass

High School MASH-UP is a course open to all levels that will cover ways to introduce personal meaning to portraits, through narrative. Personal and found images will be combined with text, to form a collage that will interact with sheet glass and frames that we will alter and decorate in class. Everyone will go home with one or more framed, commemorative pieces, as well as an understanding of how to use imagery, words, and mixed media as separate components of a work to tell a story.

Mixed Media Glass Camp

EVERYBODY is an artist; they might just not know it yet. This class is a mind opening and fun way to explore what makes you and your artistic voice special. Throughout the course, experimentation and conversation will help students unlock new avenues for their portraits.

Teen Acrylic Painting Camp

Acrylics are one of the most versatile media ever invented! Bright, luminous colors, ease of use, and infinite techniques make acrylic painting a boundless, creative choice. Whether you are intrigued by acrylic's potential, or have worked in acrylic for years, this class has something for everyone! We will cover the basics of composition, light & shadow, color harmony, and perspective. You will have the opportunity to paint a variety of subjects: landscapes, animals, plants, national parks, birds, sailboats, still lifes. We will delve into some of the alternative techniques acrylics has to offer: washes, layering, dripping, sponging, spraying, textured mediums, collage, etc!  Expand your creative horizons in this fun and informative class!
