Relaxing Watercolor Painting

In this class, students will learn basic watercolor techniques and color theory as it relates to emotional expression. Students will create an abstract watercolor painting that reflects the colors that speak to their feelings in that moment as well as brush strokes that display their emotions as well. Relaxing music will play in the background.

Students will learn watercolor fundamentals, color theory and how colors and brush technique evoke or display emotions.

Students will make a watercolor painting that is indicative of their feelings.

Supply list - please bring to class:

-watercolor paint set
-brushes
-Watercolor paper (cold press, at least 140 lb)
-masking fluid
-artist's tape
