The Writer's Workshop

Are you trying to carve out time and gain inspiration for your writing? Join us at Schack’s Writer’s Workshop. This four week, multi-discipline class will feature engaging craft lectures, extensive craft workshops, and will provide one of the most important tools a writer needs to succeed: supportive community committed to giving specific, encouraging feedback!

No matter what you are writing (novel, short stories, memoir, poetry), this interactive workshop will be a tremendous boost to your project. Through the close reading of The Great Gatsby and several short essays and poems (provided in class), we will explore the way different genres inform one another. And, since writers of all types will be working together to discuss the craft and workshop one another’s pieces, you will receive well-rounded feedback on your work!
