Mixed Media

Alcohol Inks

Students will explore the world of alcohol ink, using a variety of colors, including metallics, to create abstracts or abstract landscapes and florals.

They will learn the characteristics of alcohol ink, and several techniques to manipulate the ink such as blowing with a straw, making color washes, misters, daubers, how to use medium and alcohol, and finish with rubber stamps.

Blooming Abstracts - Painting Large

We will be painting bright and loose Abstract blooms, twigs, and foliage in a Relaxed, and easy way using mixed media to create a lot of layers and interest! We will be doing some warm ups on paper and then painting on large wood panel. Happy Happy Painting..

Eco Friendly Etching

In this class, you will learn how to etch copper in a simple salt water bath using only batteries! This chemical-free technique is fun and easy and it won't break the bank. You'll also learn how to finish and color your etched pieces to add an extra dimension to your jewelry designs.

Fabulous Acrylic Pours

Students will explore and learn the popular and fascinating, fast and exciting new art form of acrylic pours.

Students will learn how to prep their canvas, selecting colors, paint layering, several techniques of applying paint to the surface, as well as finishing the artwork and prep for hanging.

Mixed Media Intuitive Painting

Wake Up Your Abstracts: Movement & Mark Making
