Beginning Lapidary - Cabochon Cutting

Cabochon cutting is a method of cutting gemstones with a convex, rounded surface that is polished but unfaceted. The back of a normal cabochon-cut stone is flat.

Students will learn how to take a stone from flat slab to a beautiful polished piece ready for jewelry or other artwork.

Lampwork Glass Beadmaking

If you're fascinated by baubles, bangles, and beads, this one day class is for you. You will make many glass beads as you learn the basic skills of heating Moretti (soft) glass, applying it to a mandrel, and shaping it with tools.

ZOOM Online class - Oil Pastel Workshop

Oil pastels are an exciting, vibrant art form that you can bring anywhere and they yield amazing, bright, cheerful and spontaneous results! We will be doing a variety of subjects- landscapes, animals, portraits, and still lives, and we will explore color, value, shadow, perspective, and materials in this fun and informative class for everyone! The subjects will be taught in a step-by-step fashion. You will be able to follow along with the steps to acheive great results!   (Beginner to Advanced)

Zoom Online class - Cartooning & Caricatures

Write! Draw! Ink! This workshop allows you to learn the process of cartooning and drawing caricatures. Students will follow along on a step by step basis to draw some favorite characters as well as create their own characters and write and draw their own stories.

ZOOM Online class - Drawing I

Drawing is extremely easy and fun! We will be drawing a variety of subjects such as landscapes, animals, flowers and still lives in this class. We will be covering contrast, highlights/shadow, composition etc. The subjects will be taught in a step-by-step fashion. You will be able to follow along with the steps to achieve beautiful finished projects!

Alcohol Inks

Students will explore the world of alcohol ink, using a variety of colors, including metallics, to create abstracts or abstract landscapes and florals.

They will learn the characteristics of alcohol ink, and several techniques to manipulate the ink such as blowing with a straw, making color washes, misters, daubers, how to use medium and alcohol, and finish with rubber stamps.

Discover how De Pirro creates environmental sculptural forms and installations using both reclaimed & organic materials. Fused Geometric Wall Clock

You will be creating a bright colorful contemporary wall clock which will add a splash of color to your home or office.

Students will learn basic fusing concepts and will have a chance to use frit, stringers, and nuggets with other geometric shapes of glass. We will discuss how to drill a hole in your project and the placement of the hole for proper mounting on the wall.

Lampworking: Make a Pipe

This class is a one day workshop of practicing working with hollow glass to make a functional pipe.

Students will learn how to use blow tubes, weld glass, use a punty, and how to shape hollow glass.
