Veteran glass sculptor and science educator Lin McJunkin, from Conway, WA, will demonstrate how she uses STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) principles in her glass sculptures during this free lecture at the Schack Art Center.

She will also show and explain the STEM-based work of around two dozen Northwest Designer Craftsmen (NWDC) artists whose work is in the current STEM+Art+Design show at the Schack through June 8, 2019.

Finally, she has examples of student work in these areas from grades 2, 5, and high school.  This presentation is suitable for teachers of all grade levels and subjects, artists working in any medium, and the general public.
