Schedule Your Schack Group Tour

Schack Art Center is a non-profit, visual art center in downtown Everett that provides an up-close view into the fascinating world of glassblowing. Visitors will see working artists shape molten glass while admiring diverse exhibits featuring locally and internationally known professional artists.

Exhibit Experience and Docent Guided Tours require advanced reservations.

Self-Guided Tour - Free (Available daily during open hours; no reservation needed.)

The exhibits at the Schack are free and open to the public during scheduled exhibit dates.  As always, the Schack Shop is open every day, even during exhibit rotation.

Exhibit Experience - $40/group, reservation required (limit 30)

Available Wed.-Sun. open hours during scheduled exhibits. Check exhibit schedule for dates.  Subject to docent availability.

This experience begins with a brief docent introduction to the Center and the current exhibits, and includes an Exhibit Quiz that will guide you through the exhibits as you hunt for the answers and learn about the artwork, artists, and the Center itself. Feel free to look into the studios to possibly see artists painting, drawing, printmaking, metalsmithing, at work in the Flame & Kiln Studio or blowing glass in the Hot Shop.

Docent Guided Tour - $60/group, reservation required (limit 20)

Available Wed.-Sun. open hours during scheduled exhibits, beginning the Wednesday after exhibit opens. Check exhibit schedule for dates. Allow 45-60 minutes for the tour.  Subject to docent availability.

This guided tour gives a more in-depth look at the current exhibits, including the artists, their media, techniques and background. It is also filled with fun and facts about the history of the Schack, the artwork in the current exhibits, and behind-the-scenes peeks at the Hot Shop, classrooms, mezzanine gallery and studios, and other wonderful parts of the space.
