Scholastic Portfolios 2021

February 2 – March 21

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is a nationwide program that gives thousands of students the opportunity to broaden creative horizons while earning local and national recognition. The objective is to foster confidence of young artists and give them the opportunity to be recognized for their creative achievements. The Alliance also partners with art institutes, colleges, and universities to earmark scholarships for college-bound Scholastic Awards recipients.

Beaten and Bruised by Daeton Oclaray

Schack Art Center is the only Scholastic regional affiliate in Washington state. Every year, we host an art exhibit in our facility featuring the artwork from Snohomish County teens.

This portion of the exhibit features the work of Daeton Oclaray, Gold Key winner from North Creek High School and Isabelle Santos, Silver Key Winner from Marysville Pilchuck High School.
