Black & White Photography Contest

2018 Black and White Photography Contest is open to all Snohomish County High School 9-12 students. Photographs are judged in two categories, grades 9-10 and grades 11-12. Exhibit runs from March 12-April 29.

Scholastic Art Awards

The Schack Art Center is proud to present The Scholastic Art Awards. This program gives thousands of students throughout America the opportunity to broaden their creative horizons while earning local and national recognition.

The objective is to foster the confidence of young artists and give them the opportunity to be recognized for their creative achievements by the world at large. The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards were founded in 1923, and have become the nation's largest and longest running program of its kind.

Susan Jane Russell College Scholarship

In February, the Schack Art Center will award a $1,500 scholarship to a graduating senior planning further study in the arts field.

To qualify, the recipient must be a high school senior planning on attending a community college, college, university, or art school in the fall of 2019, majoring in the visual arts or arts education.
