Black & White Photography Contest

Schack Art Center received more than 130 entries for its 2019 Black & White Photography Contest. The contest was open to all Snohomish County High School students. Photographs were judged in two categories, Grades 9-10 and Grades 11-12. Three local, well-known photographers served as judges: Keith Field, Tom Guffey, and Susie Howell.

The GRAND PRIZE winner of the 2019 Black & White Photography Contest is Isabella Nuttall, a junior at Snohomish High School, for her piece, Broken in the Light.

Important Dates:

March. 28-Apr. 30, Black & White Photography Contest Exhibit features all entries including the winning photographs at the Schack Art Center, 2921 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Mon.-Fri., 10-6 pm, Sat. 10-5 pm, and Sun. 12-5 pm

Awards Ceremony on April 18, 6:00 pm during the Schack's monthly Teen Night.

NOTE TO TEACHERS: All photographs must be picked up on May 1 at the Schack Art Center, after the Photography Contest Exhibit has been taken down. If the pickup date does not work, please contact Nancy H. Bell, 425-259-5050, x23, to make other arrangements.
