Glass Studio Rental Rates

All renters MUST have a Schack Memberbship prior to using our facilities. In addition, renters must pass an Access Test.

Each 4 hour slot includes 50 Pounds of glass.  Additional glass is avalable with prior arrangement at $1.50 per pound.

Each 4 Hour blow slot includes 1/2 of Medium Annealer and overnight annealing. Additional annealing space available by prior arrangment, if available for $25 per oven per day.

Current Hot Shop Rates (thru July 31, 2018):

• Large Glory Hole - $160 per 4 hour blow slot
• Medium Glory Hole - $150 per 4 hour blow slot
• Window Glory Hole - $150 per 4 hour blow slot

NEW Hot Shop Rates (effective for any slots booked August 1, 2018 or later)

• Large Glory Hole - $175 per 4 hour blow slot
• Medium Glory Hole - $165 per 4 hour blow slot
• Window Glory Hole - $165 per 4 hour blow slot

Full shop rental (effective August 1, 2018):

• The cost of booking the entire shop (when only using two glory holes) is the rental fee for two glory holes plus $100.

Additional equipment available for rent in the Hot Shop:

• Venturi torches $10/slot
• Hot torches $10/slot
• Garage $20/slot
• Pick up box $15/slot
• Extra annealing space available with approval from Glass Studio manager

Cold Shop Rates:

• $20 per hour (minimum one hour)

Flame & Kiln Studio Rates:

• Flame studio with torch $30 for 1-3 hours, additional hours $10 each
• Studio use $30 per day
• Kiln time:
  Large Kiln $30 per 24 hour period
  Medium Kiln $20 per 24 period

Artist Studio Access Policies

To access the Schack studios you must complete the following:

1. Purchase a Schack Membership here.
2. Pass an Access Test with Rich Langley Studio Manager. Call for appointment 425-259-5050 x22.
