Interested in Teaching at the Schack?

We are seeking new instructors for our Winter 2022 session (Jan-Apr).

Our classes are hands-on experiences, offered to students of all levels. Our goal is for students to leave a class feeling confident in having learned a new skill, or gained insight into a field or discipline. We encourage an inclusive and safe learning environment for teachers and students.

In addition to our downstairs classroom space, our facility is home to eight specialized production studios which accommodate silversmithinglapidaryfused glassflameworking, hot glass, stained glasspaintingdrawing and printmaking classes.

We are looking to diversify the voices, skills and experiences represented by the teachers we work with.

Have an idea for a workshop or series of classes?

Have a skill, craft or perspective you don't see represented in our current workshops? We are currently looking for classes for Oct-Dec 2021. We prefer in person but virtual can work too!

Please propose your idea using this form

To be considered for our Winter 2022 (Jan-April) session, please submit your class proposal by Nov 6, 2021.
