In 2014 the Schack Art Center received the Governor’s Award for Outstanding Arts Organization in the state of Washington.

In 2002, The Arts Council of Snohomish County was awarded the Richard Wendt Award of Excellence, in recognition of its extraordinary contributions to the arts in Everett.

In 1992 the Arts Council of Snohomish County began the tradition of honoring an Artist of the Year and Volunteer of the Year. The Art Advocate Award was added in 2011.
