Students will explore the elements of art — line, shape, texture, and color — while learning how to develop and transfer their imagery onto different surfaces. Through hands-on experimentation, students will try a variety of printmaking techniques, including block printing and monoprinting, to create original works of art.

Throughout the week, students will build skills in composition, inking, and layering while discovering the excitement of pulling their own prints. By the end of camp, each student will have produced a collection of unique prints that highlight their creativity and growing artistic confidence.

All supplies are provided. Please bring a lunch and dress for mess!

Students will dive into the world of handmade books, exploring creativity, texture, color, and design while learning the basics of bookbinding. Through hands-on experimentation, students will create their own junk journals using recycled and upcycled materials, decorative papers, fabric, and found objects.

Throughout the week, students will learn techniques such as folding, stitching, and assembling pages, as well as designing covers and adding personal touches. By the end of camp, each student will have a one-of-a-kind journal or handmade book to treasure and share, showcasing their creativity and growing skills in bookmaking.

All supplies are provided. Please bring a lunch and dress for mess!
