EDUCATOR WORKSHOPS
The Schack offers OSPI approved Educator Workshops with Washington State Clock Hours. The workshops are for ALL educators, and anyone involved in student education. All workshops focus on hands on learning, collaboration, and Washington State Curriculum.

Art for the Senses
Join us for an immersive, two-day, professional development workshop designed for both professional and volunteer educators who are curious about integrating art and sensory experiences into their teaching. Throughout the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to connect with fellow educators, share ideas, and discover innovative strategies to incorporate sensory-based art activities into your own learning environment. Whether you're looking to enhance emotional regulation in the classroom, support diverse learning styles, or simply spark new creative approaches, this workshop offers a meaningful blend of personal renewal and practical takeaways. As a part of the workshop, participants will also get to explore the power of sensory engagement through a guided sound bath experience—promoting relaxation, presence, and creative inspiration. Come prepared to relax, connect, and leave reenergized with fresh ideas that will engage your students’ senses and spark their imaginations.

ART DOCENT FAIR
Are you interested in volunteering to teach art in your local school but don’t know what to teach or how to get started? Join us for an Art Docent Fair.
You will learn multiple hands-on art projects that you can take with you to teach in the schools. You will also learn how to use a work of art to lead a classroom discussion to spark inquiry, make connections, and inspire creativity. Participants will come away with the confidence and knowledge to lead art lessons in a K-6 classroom.
*Scholarships available for Title 1 Schools
Individuals interested in Art Docent Trainings are encouraged to attend our upcoming Educator Workshops, which are open to all who are interested/involved with student education.
