Location: Schack Art Center, Painting and Drawing Studio
This class focuses specifically on painting skies and sunsets in oil. Students will explore techniques in color mixing and brushwork to capture the full range of hues, light, and atmospheric textures found in clouds and expansive skies.
Through guided exercises and demonstrations, participants will develop a stronger understanding of blending, layering, and creating depth.
Over the course of the class, students will complete several studies as well as finished oil paintings highlighting dramatic and luminous sky scenes.
Please bring the following supplies:
Paint set + India Yellow and Quinacridone Magenta
All other supplies are included.
