Learn the basics of tapestry crochet and create your own colorful crocheted design! In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll learn how to work single crochet into a flat panel, read a simple graph pattern, manage multiple colors of yarn, and work on both the front and back of your project. You’ll have the option to create your own design or choose from several provided patterns.
By the end of class, you’ll have made significant progress on—or possibly completed—a simple tapestry crochet project that can be used as a wall hanging, pillow cover, coaster, potholder, or other decorative piece. If time allows, you’ll also learn how to attach a dowel to your finished piece for hanging.
Previous knowledge of single crochet is helpful but not required.
