Explore the fun and relaxing world of cold wax painting! Smooth and buttery in texture, cold wax medium is mixed with oil paint to create rich, layered abstract paintings full of color, texture, and movement.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll work on 1/2-inch wood panels, building up layers of color in a palette of your choosing. Experiment with a variety of tools and techniques as you scrape, blend, layer, and create your own unique abstract compositions.
All supplies and snacks are included. Dress for a mess!
Hot tip: Cold wax and oil paintings dry slowly, so please bring something to protect your artwork during transportation, such as a flat box or something to lay in your car.
