Location: Schack Art Center, Flame and Kiln Studio
Explore the creative possibilities of glass fusing using heat and gravity to transform glass into unique art objects. Students will learn how to safely cut and break glass, arrange the pieces into a free-form design, and gain a basic understanding of how glass behaves during the kiln-firing process.
Each student will create at least one original piece using a 12" × 12" design area, which will be fired in the kiln after class and available for pickup once complete. No previous glass experience is required.
All supplies provided.
Please wear closed-toe shoes.
