Discover the relaxing art of whittling in this hands-on class. Using just a carving knife, students create small wooden crafts such as hairpins, combs, pendants, T-shirt pins, or other decorative pieces. Students choose from designs provided by the instructor and learn essential whittling techniques. These functional pieces can be used daily or given as handmade gifts. No previous experience is required.
Students will need to bring to class:
Thumb guard (Instructor recommendation: Self-adhesive bandage wrap, 1–2 inches wide)
