Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this class emphasizes craftsmanship, creative exploration, and mixed-metal design. By the end, you’ll leave with a unique set of rings that reflect both your skills and your artistic vision.
Students will learn to fuse, texture, and form silver and bronze, shape ring bands with clean edges, fabricate a bezel, and set a gemstone securely. Each participant will create a set of handcrafted rings featuring personalized textures, patterns, and finishes, along with a custom bezel and stone setting, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.
Students Should Bring:
Closed-toe shoes for safety while using tools
Apron
Hair tied back with ties or clips if long
Reading glasses for close-up work (if needed)
Notebook and pen for notes or measurements
Optional: personal cabochon gemstones (must be sturdy)
