Join us for an inspiring Educator Workshop at Schack Art Center designed to unlock the possibilities of creative careers for your students. This engaging, two-day, workshop will provide hands-on activities, dynamic lesson plans, and insider insights into the diverse opportunities within the creative industries.
Discover innovative ways to guide your students in exploring their passions, whether in fashion, marketing, engineering or more. You'll leave with practical tools to integrate creative career exploration into your curriculum and empower the next generation of makers, thinkers, and visionaries.
Friday night will include a keynote speaker from industry, a crash course in how design-thinking connects creative skills to nearly all careers, and an exciting design challenge lead by a classroom teacher with real life examples.
On Saturday morning we will dive into multiple sessions where educators will lead you through several lessons that can easily be adapted to your classrooms, to inspire creative career exploration all while having a STEAM connection (and clock-hours for teachers!)
