Gain confidence in color mixing in this focused one-day workshop exploring the essential elements of color: value, hue, and chroma. Using oil paint, students will learn how to mix colors accurately, adjust saturation, create warmer or cooler tones, and control light and dark values through a better understanding of the color wheel.
Participants will create a personalized color reference chart to use as a resource in future paintings. While instruction will be demonstrated in oil paint, the techniques are applicable to all painting mediums.
