This beginner-friendly class will help students build a solid understanding of both linear and atmospheric perspective. Through hands-on observation and drawing exercises, you’ll learn how to create the illusion of depth and space, represent three-dimensional forms, and apply these techniques to your own artistic goals.

Students will explore how to recognize and use different types of perspective, draw basic forms and objects in linear perspective, and create simple landscapes using atmospheric perspective. Along the way, you’ll take notes, experiment with small studies, and develop your own original compositions that bring a sense of realism and depth to your drawings.
