Ready to think in 3D? In this hands-on sculpture workshop, students will roll up their sleeves and dive into the world of building, carving, and casting!
We’ll explore a variety of sculpting techniques, including modeling forms by hand, carving into material to create dynamic 3D reliefs, and learning how casting works to reproduce dimensional designs. Students will even build their own armatures — the hidden “skeletons” that support larger sculptures — and see how structure helps bring creative ideas to life.
Through demonstrations and guided projects, participants will experiment with shape, texture, and form while creating bold, tactile artworks they can be proud of. Come ready to build, carve, and create in three dimensions!
All supplies are provided. Please bring a lunch and dress for mess!
