In this workshop, students will learn how to create a relief fruit sculpture on canvas using lightweight construction foam and flexible modeling paste. Each participant will select a fruit of their choice—such as a pomegranate, lemon, orange, or similar—and build the raised form using sculpting foam as the core structure.
Students will refine the surface and sculpt dimensional branches using SamanArt Flexible Modeling Paste. They will also learn painting techniques for both the background and the sculpted fruit using acrylics, and will complete their piece with painted leaves to enhance the composition.
By the end of the session, each student will have a fully sculpted and painted 16x20-inch relief artwork ready to take home.

In this creative workshop, students will design and craft their own garden mosaic bricks by applying colorful glass tiles directly onto classic clay bricks. Participants will learn the basics of mosaic layout, cutting, adhesion, and grouting as they create unique, weather-resistant pieces perfect for decorating garden beds, pathways, or outdoor spaces. After the second class, each student will leave with a beautifully finished mosaic brick ready to display at home.

Whittling is a simple and fun hobby that many people enjoy all over the world. In this hands-on class, carve your own one-of-a-kind necklace, comb, hairpins, or similar object! Learn how to use carving tools safely and select wood for your project. Gain skills in making basic cuts and using proper whittling techniques. You will also learn how to sharpen and hone your tools to keep them razor-sharp. This type of small object can be a bit more delicate than carving a spoon, so it's great practice. If you’ve taken carving classes with us before, this will be an opportunity to hone your skills and enjoy working on another project with Saman and a classroom of peers. Discover a new hobby, develop handy skills, and meet other crafty folks in this rewarding class! No previous whittling experience is required.
