In this creative workshop, students will design and craft their own garden mosaic bricks by applying colorful glass tiles directly onto classic clay bricks. Participants will learn the basics of mosaic layout, cutting, adhesion, and grouting as they create unique, weather-resistant pieces perfect for decorating garden beds, pathways, or outdoor spaces. After the second class, each student will leave with a beautifully finished mosaic brick ready to display at home.

Learn how to plan a mosaic composition, select and arrange glass tiles, and assemble the pieces into finished coasters. This fun, hands-on class is a great introduction to the process of creating glass mosaics, with plenty of room for creativity and personal expression.

Students will create two unique glass mosaic coasters, each featuring their own design and combination of colorful glass tiles.

Welcome to the vibrant world of mosaics! In this hands-on introductory workshop, you'll learn the essential techniques needed to create beautiful mosaic art.

Students will be introduced to the basics of cutting and nipping glass, working with various adhesives and substrates, choosing and placing tesserae, and applying different grouting methods. You'll also explore three distinct mosaic techniques: glass on wood, glass on glass, and the indirect method.

Projects include a glass-on-wood mosaic, a glass sun catcher, and an indirect cast mosaic.

All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring personal items or special pieces to incorporate into your designs.

Discover the luminous beauty of mother-of-pearl in this relaxing, hands-on art workshop inspired by traditional Chinese mother-of-pearl inlay. Students will learn about the history and visual characteristics of this decorative art form while creating their own floral composition using shimmering shell pieces, preserved flowers, and botanical elements.

Through guided instruction, students will explore composition, layering, material placement, adhesive application, and finishing techniques to create an elegant, dimensional artwork.

No previous art experience is required. All supplies will be provided.
