Welcome to the vibrant world of mosaics! In this hands-on introductory workshop, you'll learn the essential techniques needed to create beautiful mosaic art.
Students will be introduced to the basics of cutting and nipping glass, working with various adhesives and substrates, choosing and placing tesserae, and applying different grouting methods. You'll also explore three distinct mosaic techniques: glass on wood, glass on glass, and the indirect method.
Projects include a glass-on-wood mosaic, a glass sun catcher, and an indirect cast mosaic.
All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring personal items or special pieces to incorporate into your designs.
Mosaic Garden Bricks
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, June 6 - 7, from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

In this creative workshop, students will design and craft their own garden mosaic bricks by applying colorful glass tiles directly onto classic clay bricks. Participants will learn the basics of mosaic layout, cutting, adhesion, and grouting as they create unique, weather-resistant pieces perfect for decorating garden beds, pathways, or outdoor spaces. After the second class, each student will leave with a beautifully finished mosaic brick ready to display at home.
All materials are provided.

Get ready to create colorful, sparkling works of art! In this hands-on mosaic workshop, students will roll up their sleeves and explore the world of pattern, color, and design.
We’ll experiment with arranging tiles, glass, and other materials to create vibrant mosaics. Students will learn how to plan designs, cut and shape pieces safely, and assemble them into both flat and dimensional artworks.
Through demonstrations and guided projects, participants will explore texture, color, and composition while creating bold, eye-catching pieces they can be proud of. Come ready to design, arrange, and bring your ideas to life!
All supplies are provided. Please bring a lunch and dress for mess!

Pebble Mosaic Stepping Stone
