In this workshop, students will use ferns, leaves, and branches (real and fake) to create a variety of botanical gel prints that mimic the look of Christmas trees.

Students will leave with festive prints that could be used on holiday cards, gift bags, wrapping, or tags. The instructor will also provide each student with 4 card blanks and envelopes to print on during class or to take home for future use.

Unlike many traditional printmaking techniques, gel printing has a minimal setup and does not require the use of a press, making it possible to do it from almost anywhere.

No prior gel printing experience is required.

Looking for the perfect plate for Santa's cookies and reindeer treats?

This class will give you a chance to create a fused glass project even if you have never worked with any kind of glass.

Students will learn basic fusing concepts and will have a chance to use frit with the precut shapes.

You will be creating an 8" square curved plate with a snowman in a winter scene to use at your holiday gatherings.

This class is a great introduction to flameworking glass. Students will use a bench-mounted torch and rods of borosilicate glass to learn how to carefully melt glass and shape a gather of glass into an icicle. After completing some basic clear icicles, the process of applying some stripes of color will be covered.

Students will learn how to safely light and use a bench-mounted torch. They will learn how to melt a glass rod to create a gather of molten glass on the end, and learn to use tools to transform that gather into an icicle

Students should go home with several small icicles.
