In this workshop, students will be introduced to Gel Plate Printmaking using an 8" x 10" gel plate and acrylic paint. We’ll learn to work with leaves, ferns, branches, and flowers to build unique botanical gel prints. Our goal will be to create botanical monoprints and monotypes that can stand on their own, but gel-printed papers are also excellent material for collages, cards, art journals, or other mixed-media projects.
Unlike many traditional printmaking techniques, gel printing has a minimal setup and does not require the use of a press, making it possible to do it from almost anywhere.
Students will learn:
A basic understanding of how paints and papers may impact gel prints, including thick vs. thin papers, opaque vs. transparent layers, and “What is the right amount of paint?”
• How to use botanical items, such as leaves, ferns, and flowers as textures and masks for gel printing.
• How to clean, care for, and store a gel printing plate.
All supplies are included, but an apron is recommended. Please dress for mess!

Learn how to create unique monoprints without a press using a gel printing plate. In this class, we'll use an 8" x 10" gel plate with acrylic paint, found textures, and DIY stencils and stamps. We'll work to create prints that can stand on their own, but gel-printed papers are also wonderful for collages, cards, art journals, or other mixed-media projects.
Unlike many traditional printmaking techniques, gel printing has minimal setup and is easy to do almost anywhere.
Students will learn:
Techniques for creating layered prints using a gel plate and acrylic paint.
How to use homemade stencils/masks and found objects to create interesting textures in your prints.
A basic understanding of how different paints and papers may impact your finished prints.

Explore creative printmaking techniques on fabric to create one-of-a-kind textiles and wearable art in this hands-on workshop! Students will experiment with a variety of printing methods to produce unique patterns, textures, and layered designs on fabric while learning the fundamentals of composition, color, and surface design. Whether you're interested in customizing clothing, making decorative textiles, or exploring a new artistic process, this class offers plenty of room for creativity.
No previous printmaking experience is required. By the end of the course, you'll leave with several beautifully printed fabric pieces and the skills to continue creating your own custom textiles.
Students can bring a few fabric items, such as a tote bag, T-shirt, or other solid-colored fabric pieces. Any color is fine, as long as it’s a solid color.
The instructor will provide a few fabric pieces for practice first, and then students can work on their own items. All other supplies included.

Whether you’re new to printmaking or looking to refresh and expand your skills, this 5-hour workshop is a great opportunity to explore the art of linocut. Students will learn the fundamentals of designing an image, transferring it to a block, using safe carving techniques, inking, and printing. After learning the basics, participants will explore additional inking techniques using a single block to create unique prints.
This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as students with previous linocut experience who want to build their skills and experiment with new techniques.

Take your gel printing skills to the next level in this intermediate workshop focused on creating rich, layered mixed-media prints. Explore image transfer techniques using magazines, laser copies, graphite, and oil pastels, while also drawing directly on the gel plate with acrylic markers. Students will learn how to combine multiple techniques into a single, dynamic gel print.
This class is designed for students who have completed a beginning gel printing workshop or have prior experience working with a gel plate. Participants will leave with a collection of unique mixed-media gel prints, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue experimenting with image transfer and drawing media techniques at home.
