Take your gel printing skills to the next level in this intermediate workshop focused on creating rich, layered mixed-media prints. Explore image transfer techniques using magazines, laser copies, graphite, and oil pastels, while also drawing directly on the gel plate with acrylic markers. Learn how different paints, papers, and materials affect image transfers and discover ways to combine multiple techniques into a single, dynamic print.
This class is designed for students who have completed a beginning gel printing workshop or have prior experience working with a gel plate. Participants will leave with a collection of unique mixed-media gel prints, along with the knowledge and confidence to continue experimenting with image transfers and layered printing techniques at home.
All supplies are included, but an apron is recommended. Please dress for mess!
