Step into the world of flameworking and learn to shape molten borosilicate glass into beautiful hollow forms. In this hands-on class, students will explore the fundamentals of working with an oxy/propane torch while creating small blown vessels and functional objects.

Through demonstrations and guided practice, participants will learn how to apply vibrant colors and patterns to clear glass blanks and shape them into forms such as small vases, cups, goblets, ornaments, pipes, and plant watering bulbs. Essential techniques covered include blowing, condensing, pulling, and opening lips.

This class is perfect for beginners excited to work with fire and glass in a supportive studio environment. By the end of the workshop, students will take home several unique handmade pieces and a solid foundation in hollow borosilicate glass techniques.
