Explore the vibrant world of Mexican folk art in this colorful, hands-on workshop! Students will create their own Lele doll artwork, inspired by the traditional handmade dolls of the Otomi community — a joyful symbol of heritage and culture.

Using soft pastels for rich, blendable color and glowing backgrounds, along with markers for crisp details and decorative patterns, participants will develop mixed-media skills while exploring color blending, layering, and gradient techniques. Markers will be used to add clean outlines and intricate patterns inspired by traditional embroidery designs.

By the end of class, each student will have a unique Lele doll artwork that showcases their creativity and celebrates the beauty of Mexican folk art.

All supplies are provided.
