Celebrate the art and traditions of Día de Muertos by creating your own Catrina! Inspired by Mexico’s iconic Catrinas and their elaborate, expressive style, you’ll use papier-mâché and recycled materials to build a one-of-a-kind figure full of personality.

Explore shape, texture, color, clothing, and unexpected materials as you learn the basics of building and shaping a three-dimensional papier-mâché sculpture. Along the way, learn about the history and cultural significance of the Catrina and its connection to Día de Muertos.

No two Catrinas will be alike! Come ready to create, experiment, and have fun while bringing your own unique character to life.
