Explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest through watercolor in this relaxed, nature-inspired class. Each session will focus on a different subject—from leaves and flowers to birds and other local flora and fauna—using a combination of photographs and, when possible, specimens from life.

Through step-by-step demonstrations and guided practice, students will learn color mixing, layering, value, texture, and the use of soft and hard edges to create depth and expressive detail. Students will complete a small watercolor painting each week, along with smaller studies to build their skills. All levels of experience are welcome!
